Cape Eleuthera Resort, Islands of the Bahamas

Cape Eleuthera Resort, located on the northern tip of South Eleuthera, is a 9-mile private peninsula featuring 4,500 acres with 18 miles of natural powder-soft sand beaches just 220 miles from the east coast of Florida in the Islands of the Bahamas. The spectacular setting blends the authentic Out Island atmosphere with calm blue waters, pristine surroundings and charming Bahamian hospitality. Eleuthera, Greek for "freedom", was founded by religious freedom seekers in 1648 and is the oldest settlement in the Bahamas archipelago.

The calm and protected crystal blue waters located off the Northeast coast of Cape Eleuthera are the perfect location for water activities of all kinds, protected by the island's C-shaped curvature toward the Caribbean and away from the Atlantic, making it a natural, easy point of entry by boat. This special location was first developed in 1971 by Juan Trippe, founder of Pan American World Airways and was acquired by the DeVos family, former owners of Peter Island in the British Virgin Islands, in 1991.

Under the management and development guidance of The Resort Group since 2008, Cape Eleuthera features fully-equipped four-star resort homes located in intimate groups surrounding the Out Islands' largest full-service deep water marina. This blue flag marina, with 55 slips that can accommodate vessels from 200 to 450-feet, is hailed as the Out Islands' best for deep-water sea fishing.
